Proofreading & Editing
Full human proofread against the source, or machine-translation post-editing (MTPE) — named and priced separately.
We name MTPE plainly rather than folding it into 'proofreading' at one price — you should know what level of check you're paying for. Documents are handled under our standard confidentiality and retention policy.
The right level depends on where the document is going, not on habit. A proofread for internal circulation has a different bar than one for a regulator, a court or a customer-facing page — if you're not sure which you need, tell us the destination and we'll recommend a level rather than sell you the more expensive one by default.
